What is French beading?

French beading is a traditional wire-and-bead technique used to build three-dimensional flowers, petal by petal, bead by bead. Each petal starts as a single strand of tiny seed beads threaded onto wire, looped again and again until it takes the shape of a real flower.

Truly one of a kind

Every Marchanta flower is handmade individually, so no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Small variations in color, shape and size are part of the charm, proof that a person, not a machine, beaded each one by hand.
